Why we refuse to only review puzzle games
There's a lazy assumption that mobile means puzzles and idle games. It's not true, and sticking to that view means missing some of the best things on the platform. Phones now run proper action RPGs, deep strategy campaigns, and racers that feel great.
We deliberately mix our coverage. In a single month we might review a cozy builder like Tiny Harbor Town, a tense strategy game like Frontier Command, and an exploration piece like Driftwood Isles. Each asks different things of your hands, your attention, and your battery.
Variety also keeps our judgement honest. If you only play one genre you lose perspective on what good pacing or good controls even look like. Jumping between an arcade racer and a slow sim resets your expectations.
So no, we won't become a puzzle blog. The whole point is to show how wide mobile gaming has actually become.
